My name is Lisa “Melia" Volkova, i'm a freelance children's book illustrator based in Tbilisi, Georgia

I work in Procreate on illustrations for children's books, magazines, board games, greeting cards and more, but i also use traditional media like watercolour and ink for selected projects or for myself to relax.

As a mom of three, I sometimes do not have much time to relax, but my little kittens are my constant source of inspiration and funny stories.

I like to notice hidden beauty in people and things, creating stories that emotionally connect with the viewer.

Raising socially significant questions in my art is important to me, that is why my projects include a book "My not so normal family" for self-publishing author from Australia Erin Harris, which is currently sold on Amazon, a colouring book "The smile of Rose" for "Mercy" charity organisation that deals with cleft palate, and other projects.

My clients come from worldwide, including Germany, Australia, Kazakhstan, etc.
